It is no coincidence that Samsung is considered one of the best technology brands in the world. The company is constantly launching new products to the market and is attentive and concerned about offering the best experience to its customers.
In this sense, now the South Korean manufacturer has launched the GameDriver application to update the graphics drivers on Galaxy smartphones. One of the objectives is to improve the performance obtained during the games.
Earlier this year, Google released the GPU Inspector Tool for Android users to update drivers video from some computers to improve the performance of games on phones.
In this way, Samsung has now harnessed the full potential of this tool and launched an application to facilitate updates on the graphics chip of your models.
GameDriver: the application that updates the graphics driver for the Samsung Galaxy
The GameDriver app will make life easier for the user by updating the graphics driver for Galaxy models. This application aims to improve game performance, but also to bring general bug fixes and optimizations in the use of smartphones.
According to Samsung, this app is for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 +, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra models. Thus, these devices can download the application and update their GPU without having to download a new version of firmware.
Second to Samsung:
Optimizing the GPU driver and simplifying driver updates is a key area for making the most of hardware resources and maintaining optimized performance of a GPU.
The company says it has worked closely with Google and manufacturers like ARM and Qualcomm to develop GameDriver. But the South Korean company continues to work in partnership with more than 50 other brands (you can see the list here) to improve the performance of the programs with the updates.
Users can now download the GameDriver app, however they need to know their GPU version first. Therefore, Samsung has an application available for Adreno GPU and Mali GPU.
