The series that continues the history of the films “Karate Kid” (“Moment of truth” in Portugal) has become a phenomenon of gigantic audience with the move from YouTube to Netlix at the end of August.
This Wednesday (9), the platform revealed the official trailer for the third season of “Cobra Kai”, which will be available on January 8 (the fourth has already been confirmed in October).
The images show eternal rivals Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) in truce and even joining forces in the United States after the events of the second season that threw one of the karate students to the hospital.
Sensei John Kreese (Martin Kove) also returns with the same character seen in the first and third films and that was the great novelty of the second season: Bad as Snakes.
But the new episodes promise to dive further into the mythology of the films, as the trailer reveals Daniel’s return to Okinawa, Japan, where he spent most of “Moment of Truth II” (1986) and his reunion with the previous one. . girlfriend Kumiko and rival Chozen.
