Tony Carreira, Fernanda Antunes and their children, Mickael and David, are already at the Basilica da Estrela to take care of Sara Carreira’s body.

The arrival of the Carreira family was marked by the security apparatus, which protected everyone from the gaze of the crowd of fans outside, with a corridor of black umbrellas.

The family had already issued a statement on Tuesday morning, 8, remembering that the ceremony would be private, only with the people closest to Sara. In any case, the published note did not prevent some of the singer’s fans from going to church, where they lined up to watch from outside.

Tony hired a private security company to ensure the family’s privacy at this time of grief, and also asked the police for support so that there would be no crowds outside the Basilica.

Sara Carreira passed away last Saturday, 5, at the age of 21, victim of a traffic accident on the A1, in Santarém, when he was returning from Porto to Lisbon.
