According to a publication on its website on Thursday, the Prosecutor’s Office affirms that the Public Ministry considered that the defendant, as an employee of the Filipa de Vilhena Secondary School, in Porto, was also responsible for receiving and verifying daily amounts of money from the cargo of magnetic cards for the school community and stationery, buffet, cafeteria and reprographic services.

The employee also had the task of carrying out the accounting treatment of the operations and making the bank deposit of the money.

Likewise, it considered that, in the exercise of such functions, from January 2011 to March 2015, the defendant appropriated various amounts of money, for a total amount of 76,202.11 euros.
