Chef Ljubomir feels bad during hunger strike and is hospitalized

Elements of the ‘A Pão e Água’ movement have been on a hunger strike for six days to fight for the restoration workers.

The renowned Chef Ljubomir has felt ill this Wednesday during the hunger strike that he is carrying out after the protests of the catering professionals and was assisted by the INEM. According to the news from Correio da Manhã, Ljubomir was later transferred to an INEM ambulance and sent to hospital.

A doctor and a psychologist from INEM went to the tent area set up in front of the Portuguese Parliament in Lisbon, where several catering professionals are on hunger strike, to help Ljubomir. The chef had made a statement during the afternoon requesting a meeting with elements of the Government to discuss the future of the restaurant sector, bars, discos, culture, events, accommodation and taxis.

Various elements of the ‘A Pão e Água’ movement – which brings together businessmen and workers in the restaurant industry, bars, discos, culture, events, accommodation and taxis – have been on hunger strike for six days to fight for restoration. After the demonstrations in the country and tired of not having a response from the government, they show solidarity with all those who no longer have enough to eat.
