New meeting this morning in protest of the Nicolinas festivities in Guimarães

The Vila Flor Palace, in Guimarães, inaugurates this Friday a collective exhibition of works by all the artists who have exhibited there in the last 15 years, the cultural services of the municipality announced today.

In a statement, A Oficina, responsible for the management of cultural facilities in Guimarães, highlights that the exhibition will be “a unique opportunity” to “perceive in a transversal way what was the dynamic and programmatic singularity” of the Palácio Vila Flor, in the context of visual and visual arts. .

Called “Palace”, the exhibition, distributed in approximately 850 square meters and two floors, can be visited until March 6, 2021.

Alexandre Estrela, Adelina Lopes, André Cepeda, André Príncipe, António Júlio Duarte, António Olaio, Arlindo Silva, Daniel Blaufuks, Gabriela Albergaria, Gabriel Abrantes, Fernando Calhau, Fernando Brito, Hugo Canoilas, João Queiroz, José Almeida Pereira and José Loureiro are some of the artists represented.

There are also works by Manuel Caeiro, Paulo Mendes, Patrícia Almeida, Pedro Cabral Santo, Pedro Portugal, Pedro Sousa Vieira, Pedro Tudela, Sonoscopia, O Bergado, Olympic Hall with Carla Filipe, Isabel Ribeiro, Renato Ferrão and Eduardo Matos.

The exhibition will also feature works from Guimarães – Arte Contemporânea 2011 and Laboratório das Artes – 10 Years.

The exhibition thus brings together works from the A Oficina collection and older and more recent works selected by the artists.

On December 19 and February 27, there will be guided tours of the exhibition, lasting approximately one hour and limited to a maximum of seven participants.

Available for a value of two euros, visits will be made with prior registration.

The Vila Flor Palace is the exhibition space of the Vila Flor Cultural Center.
