A Retail Park is created in Ponte de Lima that will create 360 ​​jobs

Work has already begun on the future Ponte de Lima Commercial Park, the first of its kind in the Alto Minho municipality.

To MINHO, the CEO of Predilethes and promoter of the Vila Retail Park project, Paulo Nunes, explained that the project is budgeted at around 7.2 million euros and will generate “some 360 ​​new jobs”.

Paulo Nunes understands that “a commercial offer is necessary at the level that the region deserves”, and is proud to “contribute to its development”.

The inauguration is scheduled for 2021, although without advancing the month, in a bet that aims to value “development, investment, consumption and leisure”, and that, says the official, “will bring great advantages for Alto Minho ”.

The commercial area will have approximately 9,000 m2, a total of 20 stores and exterior and interior parking for 280 vehicles.

In addition, it has a covered pedestrian circuit and a natural lake that connects the commercial space with nature.

It will be installed in Arcozelo, on the north bank of the Lima river, near the historic center, and will be, officials say, “the largest commercial area in the Lima valley.”
