The Redmi brand belongs to the Xiaomi ecosystem and is now a trusted name for many technology consumers. We well know that the names associated with Xiaomi share many models with it, quite similar, but until today we had not seen a smartwatch associated with Redmi.

However, the Redmi Watch arrived, the brand’s first smartwatch, with 12-day autonomy and integrated GPS.

Yesterday was marked by the launch of the new smartphones in the Redmi Note 9 line. In particular, the line now has the Redmi Note 9 Pro, Note 9 5G and Note 9 4G. But these were more models than expected that arrive to confirm many of the rumors that have circulated on the web recently.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is, for example, priced from € 200 and already has a 108 MP camera, a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, NFC and has a 4820 mAh battery. Also, the processor is a Snapdragon 750G.

But the big news is the new smartwatch. The Redmi Watch emerges as the first smartwatch of the brand and can reach the international market under the Xiaomi brand ... which, by the way, would not be surprising.

The Redmi Watch is a watch with an iconic design for the segment. Rectangular shade and rubber bracelet, in four different colors and metal frame.

The color screen is 1.4 inches, with automatic brightness adjustment and is waterproof (5ATM), which will make it an ideal product for activities in the water.

It comes with built-in GPS, allowing you to play monitored outdoor sports, without the need for a smartphone nearby. Also, it still has NFC.

Obviously, the monitoring of sports activities is included, as well as the monitoring of sleep and sedentary lifestyle, issuing alerts to the user.

In terms of autonomy, the brand speaks of 7 to 12 days of use. Of course, this is a value that will also depend a lot on the physical activity of the users.

For now, the watch is only available in China, for 299 yuan, about € 38. It is expected to reach more markets soon.
