Another civil case in the Court of Braga for the sale of a house to an emigrant couple in France by a lawyer from Braga.
There was no agreement in the conciliation attempt carried out today in the Civil Unit of the Court of Braga.
A couple claims that lawyer Anabela Nogueira sold them an apartment in Gualtar, Braga, in 1996, without their authorization, with a false signature and power of attorney.
The share has a value of 77,870 euros.
Today, the unofficial lawyer defending her has not reached an understanding with the couple’s defender, so the case goes to trial.
However, it remains for the judge to decide on the possibility of issuing an expert opinion on the lawyer’s signature, since she says that nothing has been falsified.
According to a plaintiff’s source, it was the lawyer who sold them the apartment in 2017.
At the end of September, Anabela Nogueira -who has been denying the irregularities- faced two actions of the same content,
The lawyer, who denies having committed any crime, is suspected of having illegally sold several properties of clients, most of them immigrants. The fraud will reach a value of more than one million euros.
In 2019, a defendant was constituted and the crimes of qualified fraud and document falsification were charged.
However, there is still no prosecution.
