The Judicial Police carried out searches in Madeira and Lisbon in the framework of ‘Operation Anturium’

The Judicial Police, today, carried out Operation Anturio, triggered in the development of investigations related to the suspicion of the crime of fraud in obtaining subsidies, in the field of processes under the direction of the Central Department of Investigation and Criminal Action . (DCIAP).

The operational action carried out today consisted in the realization of twenty-one domiciliary and non-domiciliary searches, in various RAM points and in the metropolitan area of ​​Lisbon, simultaneously, with the aim of collecting documentation and evidence, related to the “System of Incentives for Research, Technological Development and Innovation in the Autonomous Region of Madeira “, an abbreviated support instrument called” + Knowledge ll “, as well as the” Operational Program, “Valorisation of the Economic Potential and Territorial Cohesion of RAM (Intervir +) “and its” Incentive System for Business Qualification in the Autonomous Region of Madeira “, in turn, abbreviated as” Qualification + III “.

Judicial magistrates, prosecutors from the DCIAP and DIAP of the Madeira district, as well as investigators and experts from the DIC of Madeira, from the Judicial Police participated in the Operation.
