Tavira, Vila Real de Santo António and São Brás leave high-risk municipalities

Tavira, Vila Real de Santo António and São Brás de Alportel left the list of high-risk municipalities, Prime Minister António Costa has just announced at a press conference.

São Brás de Alportel was the only municipality in the Algarve that appeared on this list since the beginning of this Government measure that differentiates municipalities by degrees of risk of transmission.

Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António had just entered the last update, carried out on November 12.

To get off this list, the three municipalities of the Algarve managed to reduce the number of new cases to less than 240 per 100,000 inhabitants.

In addition to these counties, there are 14 more that leave the list: Aljustrel, Alvaiázere, Beja, Borba, Caldas da Rainha, Carrazeda de Ansiães, Ferreira do Alentejo, Fornos de Algodres, Golegã, Santa Comba Dão, Sousel, Tábua, Vila Velha from Ródão and Vila Flor.
