The PSP Madeira Regional Command reports the arrest of two male citizens, between 18 and 29 years old, for the crime of drug trafficking.
The arrests occurred after compliance with the House Search Warrants, issued by the competent judicial authority after requesting the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Funchal Police Division, in the Levada dos Moinhos – Funchal area.
From this action it was possible to apprehend 2511 individual doses of hashish, 40 individual doses of ecstasy, 223 individual doses of cocaine, 11.68 g of Liamba, 1165 euros in cash, 1 alarm weapon, 1 weapon (firearm reproduction) , 144 ammunition and other objects related to the practice of this type of crime.
The citizens involved were present at the Funchal District Judicial Court, having applied the measures of coercion of term of identity and residence, periodic presentations and also prohibition of contact with defendants and frequency of places linked to drug trafficking.
