A 20-year-old young man was arrested for theft, use of a firearm and computer fraud, crimes committed in March this year in Póvoa de Varzim, Porto district, the Judicial Police (PJ) announced this Friday. .
“The events occurred at the end of March, in Póvoa de Varzim, where the victim was attracted by an encounter with a female member. In this city, still inside his vehicle, he was surprised by several participants who, acting violently, including the use of firearms, appropriated goods and money that the victim had, ”the PJ explained in a statement.
Two days later, adds the PJ of the North Directorate, “in possession of the victim’s mobile phone, the detained author managed to access his bank account, by electronic means, and appropriated all the money that was demanded in the attacked account . ”.
The detainee, an employee of a restaurant, residing in the Vila do Conde area, has already been sent by the police authorities for crimes against property.
Present in the first judicial interrogation, the coercion of preventive detention was applied.
