Next season the Portuguese rider will join the official KTM structure
The Tech3 boss, who leads Miguel Oliveira (KTM) in the MotoGP World Championship, regretted this Tuesday that the Portuguese Grand Prix is ”the last race” with the Portuguese rider in the team.
In statements released by Tech3, Frenchman Hervé Poncharal affirmed that it is “with deep sadness” that he faces “the last race with Miguel”, that next season he will join the official structure of the KTM.

“He has been with us for two years and has played a vital role in our team. He has been a team player, a great driver, but also a very nice person, with a great sense of humor, always with the right attitude and smiles in his face ”, Poncharal stressed, considering that“ having the last race of the season at home will be very special ”.
The Tech3 boss remembers that the Portuguese rider “is a great star in Portugal”, so “everyone is waiting for him”.
“He has had a fantastic season so far. We know he will be the center of attention. He has high expectations and I hope we can give him the set he needs to achieve the performance he wants. The Portuguese Grand Prix is the fourteenth and last race of the MotoGP World Championship. It takes place from Friday to Sunday at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in Portimão.
