What professionals are not covered by the restrictions?

There are some professionals who are not covered by the restrictions, including: health professionals and other workers in health and social support institutions; school teachers and non-teaching staff; civil protection agents, security forces and services, military, militarized and civilian personnel of the Armed Forces, inspectors of the Food and Economic Security Authority.

What are other exceptions?

Since the period of restriction to movement also includes the period of classes, students and their companions can travel to schools, universities and leisure activities. However, the decree does not mention any exception with respect to the children of divorced parents, in alternate residence regime, who live in different municipalities.

Travel to occupational or day centers, trips for training, examinations or inspections, or participation in procedural acts with the judicial authorities or in acts within the competence of the notary are authorized – such as going to court, the conservatory or the utilities, provided proper proof of scheduling is presented. However, in the case of weddings, only the bride and groom and groomsmen will be covered by these exceptions.

It is also planned to transfer non-resident citizens to places of proven permanence, as well as situations of displacement to return to their habitual residence.

Is it possible to travel or go sightseeing?

During the planned period, the Republican National Guard (GNR) and the Public Security Police (PSP) will carry out a joint inspection operation.
