Fire in carpentry in Braga

The Taberna Belga, based in São Vicente, Braga, announced this Saturday that it will close its doors indefinitely due to the increase in the number of cases of contagion by covid-19 in the region.

In a statement published on the official Facebook page, the restaurant, known for being one of the most frequented in the entire Miño region, explains that this measure arises from the increase in infected people in the country, something that generates “concern” between the administration.

“Concerned about the restaurant sector, our clients, our team and our families. The concern is widespread among all those around us ”, reinforces the administration of that space.

Without wanting to enter into “scaremongering”, the administration admits that it is “a serious situation” and that it is “time to reflect, adapt and anticipate everything that may happen in the future.”

“We live a new reality, our day to day is different and the way of working is also different, and we take that very seriously”, considers Taberna Belga.

The temporary closure “is a decision in conscience and in an attempt to anticipate a different scenario than the one we have now.”
