An exchange for which the candidate for the presidency of the General Assembly on the list of João Noronha Lopes would eventually apologize, later.
“The apology that followed does not erase the content or the seriousness of what was written and published by Dr. Francisco Benítez and that deserves, on our part, the most vehement repudiation. The apology only confirms the intentionality of what was written, since it does not reveal regret, limiting itself to lamenting a “lapse” due to the way the publication was made public, “the statement can read.
