The US president continues to attack epidemiologist Anthony Fauci, responsible for the US response to the virus. This Tuesday morning, on Fox News, Donald Trump blamed the famous Dr. Fauci for all the mistakes that have occurred in the country since the beginning of the crisis, accusing him of continuing to belong to the Democratic Party.

Donald Trump criticized the member of his workgroup Government to combat the new coronavirus to “be wrong” throughout the pandemic. Still, the US president admitted that Fauci is “nice” and considers it “good that citizens trust him.”

Anthony Fauci is known for being an infectious disease specialist and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as well as contributing to AIDS virus research.

“He is a democrat,” the president added during his interview with ‘Fox & Friends’. However, a spokesman for the immunologist said he was not affiliated with any political party, nor did he endorse any candidate in the presidential elections.
