Marcelo wins without a record and Ventura gets ahead of Ana Gomes

Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will be re-elected without difficulty, but he will not reach the mark of Mário Soares in 1991, according to the survey by Eurosondagem-Associação Montepio for SOL. Three months before the presidential elections, André Ventura appears in second place, with a slight advantage over Ana Gomes.

If there was never any doubt that Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa has a huge extended treadmill to continue in Belém after the presidential elections at the beginning of next year, now there are also few who will hardly match the percentage with which Mário Soares was re-elected in 1991.

In a survey especially dedicated to the upcoming presidential elections held by SOL_pela Eurosondagem with the sponsorship of the Montepio Mutual Association, Marcelo, with 61% of the Portuguese voting intentions, is very far from the 70% barrier crossed by Mário Soares in the elections in which the main opponent Basílio Horta, at the time of the CDS.
