“Whoever repeats the offense, operating beyond the defined schedule or not respecting the maximum capacity allowed, will be subject to a coercive closure,” explains the mayor.

Hereinafter, All green spaces and hallways will also be inspected and several awareness campaigns will be carried out in the street, alerting the population about the importance of using a mask, hand sanitizer and maintaining social distance.

Compliance with public transport regulations will also be under the supervision of the authorities.

“I think people are concerned and will follow the recommendations,” Marco Martins stressed. The number of active cases in Gondomar doubled in just three days, with 20 school classes in the municipality with covid-19 cases.
