João Almeida’s dream continues on the Tour of Italy. The Portuguese was this Friday the second to cross the finish line in the 13th stage, only surpassed by the Italian Diego Ulissi. With that, he earned a 6-second bonus and increased his lead in the overall ranking.

The young Portuguese from Deceuninck-QuickStep launched pique final at the finish line, but he ended without a chance against the rhythm of Diego Ulissi, who celebrated his second victory in this edition of the Giro.
