The Italian Sports Minister, Vincenzo Spadafora, commented this Thursday on the situation of Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the “bubble” of Juventus to join the concentration of the Portuguese team at the beginning of last week.
“If Ronaldo disrespected the anti-covid protocol when he arrived and returned from Portugal? Yes, if there was no authorization from the health authorities,” Spadafora said, in statements to Rai Radio Uno.
However, after playing two games for Portugal, the star tested positive for covid-19 and returned to Turin on Wednesday. Ronaldo is now fulfilling isolation at home, while the Juventus squad, with other positive cases, has returned to the “bubble” system, to avoid contact between the squad and the outside world.
