The São João Hospital, in Porto, sent two more patients with covid-19 to the Hospital das Forças Armadas, totaling seven transfers since Monday. At the Invicta pole of the military unit there are already ten inmates from hospitals in the city.

This Wednesday, the Hospital das Forças Armadas – Polo do Porto (HFAR-PP) received two infected patients from the Hospital de São João, said the General Staff of the Armed Forces (EMGFA), who also indicated that “they were received by a team doctor and sent to isolation rooms. “

According to EMGFA, “these patients are added to the eight” patients who were already there, of which five from the São João Hospital and three from the Santo António Hospital, also in Porto. These eight infected people are also hospitalized in isolation rooms.

The first patients from São João went to the HFAR-PP on Monday, due to a lack of family history.

It should be noted, as JN said first-hand last Sunday, during the weekend São João reactivated the INEM tents to screen for covid-19 suspects, given the exponential increase in the number of cases.

As in Porto, the Lisbon HFAR-Polo also received patients from a civil hospital unit. In the post installed in Lumiar, there are four infected from the Beatriz Ângelo Hospital, in Loures.
