Registry of confirmed cases with covid-19 in Portugal

There are seven more deaths associated with covid-19 and another 2,072 new cases of infection. There are 446 more recovered patients and 41 more are hospitalized.

Portugal registers, this Wednesday, a total of 2,117 deaths (seven more) me 91,193 cases of infection – it is the first time that there are more than two thousand positive daily cases (2072 more) since the beginning of the pandemic.

The seven deaths mentioned in the epidemiological bulletin released by the Directorate General of Health (DGS) occurred in the Lisbon and Vale do Tejo region (4) and in the North (3): two men and three women aged 80 and over, a man between 70 and 79 years old and another man between 60 and 69 years old.

Geographically, there are a total of 932 deaths in the north, 850 in the Lisbon region, 273 in the center, 26 in the Alentejo, 21 in the Algarve and 15 in the Azores.

Of the 2,072 new confirmed positive cases, 1001 were reported in the north, 802 in Lisbon and the Tagus Valley, 172 in the Center, 47 in Alentejo, 42 in the Algarve, five in the Azores and three in Madeira.

According to the DGS bulletin, there are 957 infected patients hospitalized (41 more) and 135 in intensive care units (Three more).

A total of 54,493 patients have already recovered from the disease caused by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (446 more) and there are 50544 contacts (plus 253) under surveillance health authorities.

Portugal has 34,583 active cases of covid-19, Represents over 1619 – In Tuesday’s bulletin the increase was 643.
