Marca presented its new equipment on Tuesday
The new iPhone will have a 5G connection. Apple is unveiling the brand’s new ‘tops of the line’ this Tuesday, which should have been released in September but have been delayed due to Covid-19.
During the presentation, two new generations of mobile phones were previewed, this time with four models: iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The iPhone 12 was the first to see the details revealed. With a price of around 929 euros according to the official website of Portugal, more expensive than the predecessor. The device has squarer edges, which resemble the look of the iPhone 4.
It’s 11% thinner, 15% smaller, and 16% lighter than the previous version, but the screen is still the same size: 6.1 inches.
Panel technology changed, ditching the LCD and adopting OLED, what the Apple brand called “Super Retina XDR.” The contrast of the screen increased and the number of pixels also increased: the iPhone 12 has twice the resolution of the iPhone 11.
The screens of mobile phones are now more resistant, being now “stronger than any glass in smartphones”. The device also received an update to its processor, with the A14 Bionic, which makes the phone faster.
The iPhone 12 in its entry model will cost 929 euros, the iPhone 12 mini will be available from 829 euros. The iPhone 12 Pro will be available from 1179 euros, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will be on sale in the cheapest version for 1279 euros.
The new iPhone will not be accompanied by a power adapter or headphones to reduce environmental impact.
