For the European Under-21 Championship, scheduled for 2021, in Hungary and Slovenia, the nine winners of the qualifying groups and the five best runners-up qualify.
The National Team won this Tuesday in Gibraltar, 3-0, and achieved, at least, the second place in Group 7 of qualification for the European Under-21.
Jota (16 minutes) and Pedro Gonçalves (50 and 80) scored the goals for the Portuguese team at the Victoria Stadium in Gibraltar.
Portugal currently has 18 points, six less than the leading Netherlands (one more game), who thrashed 7-0 in Cyprus today, and has already qualified.
Norway, with one more game, is third, with 10 points, followed by Belarus, with eight, Cyprus (another game), with seven, and Gibraltar, which has not yet scored.
