Vitória de Guimarães confirmed João Henriques as the team’s new coach this Monday afternoon, after the departure of Tiago Mendes.
“Vitória Sport Clube, Futebol SAD informs that it has reached an agreement with coach João Henriques, who will assume command of the main soccer team as of this Monday and that he signed a valid contract with this Society until the end of this season, an extension option until June 2022 ”, announced the Minho club.
João Henriques, 47, coached Santa Clara last season, leading the Azoreans to eighth place in the championship. Lead the first training session at the Cradle this Monday.
