This is the presentation of #aovivooumorto, the call for musicians, entertainment professionals and the general public to meet in lines next Saturday the 17th, at 3:00 p.m., at the door of Lux Frágil, in Lisbon, by Maus Hábitos, in Porto . , Carmo 81, in Viseu, and Sociedade Harmonia Eborense, in Évora. The idea of the Portuguese association of venues with its own musical program, Circuito, which will be formalized until that day, is to draw attention to the appreciation of the sector and its recognition as fundamental to culture. It is not an abstract issue: the pandemic has put many of them in danger. Of the 27 halls across the country that joined this association, one of them, the Vila Real Club, has already closed. In total, these venues promoted 7,537 musical performances in 2019. In terms of audience, 1,178,847 people were visited, according to data provided by Circuit.
