This Saturday, at the Vidreiro 2020 official rally in Marinha Grande, he lost his life in an accident when he was next to Miquel Socias. Laura’s parents and uncles have always been involved in rallies and both the young woman and her sister, María Salvo, followed in the family’s footsteps. At 16, the co-driver competed for the first time and at 17 he participated in the Valencian Community Championship. Without ambition to be a pilot, Laura said in an interview with sports square: “Honestly, going to the left bench is something that is not part of my plans, but I do not rule out the possibility of trying a race.” Laura received her law degree this year. He used social media to share his passion for racing, but also for music. On the young woman’s instagram you can find several videos of Laura singing and playing the guitar.

The sister, Maria Salvo, participated in the same race as co-driver of another Peageut car when Laura suffered the accident and lost her life. María is a nurse and was on the front line against the coronavirus.

The young woman even shared a message to Laura on her social networks: “Every step of yours also makes you win.”
