Four young people, between 16 and 18 years old, were arrested for attacking PSP agents this Thursday, at 11:30 am, on Avenida João Paulo II, Amadora.

During a patrol, residents warned officers that a group of about 10 students was in front of a school gate, allegedly consuming narcotic products.

According to the PSP statement, the group rebelled at the approach of the agents and two of them attacked the police and then escaped to school with two other suspects.

Agents immediately located the four suspects who took refuge inside a classroom.

The two police officers who were the object of the attack were taken to the Fernando da Fonseca Hospital where they were subjected to various tests.

One of these students was also taken to the hospital for complaining of arm pain. This young man is known for having recently been involved in acts of violence against the police on Military Road and for using social media to harass the police.
