The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, was this Friday at the Braga Hospital where he admitted to journalists that society must rethink family gatherings at Christmas.
Marcelo asked for everyone’s conscience at a time when the Covid-19 pandemic is getting worse. The “increase in the number of infections by the new coronavirus is a reality that society has to learn to live with”, because according to the Head of State, this situation “can last for months.”
