The Government announced this Thursday the start of applications for the ATIVAR.PT incentive, which aims to support companies that hire the unemployed registered in the Employment and Professional Training Centers (IEFP), according to a statement sent to the newsrooms.
«ATIVAR.PT Incentive Applications, which replaces the Employment Contract, opened this Thursday, October 8. This new measure, with a total endowment of 25 million euros, includes an increase in the aid that will be granted to companies that hire unemployed persons registered with the IEFP, ”the note in question reads.
The Ministry of Labor also indicates that under this measure “an increase of 33% of the aid that will be granted to companies that sign employment contracts with unemployed people registered in the IEFP” is expected, going from 3,949 euros to 5,266 euros contracts concluded no deadline ».
“Bonuses are included for long-term unemployed, discouraged inactive, young people up to 29 years and people 45 and over, and also for informal caregivers or homeless people,” adds the organization.
It should be remembered that last week ATIVAR.PT applications for internships began, “which replace professional internships and include an increase in internship scholarships for candidates with qualifications higher than 7.1% to 30.6%”, already with 2,120 records.
“These two measures, with a total endowment of 100 million euros, include an increase in financial aid to both recipients and promoters” and are part of the “Enhanced Support Program for Employment and Vocational Training, registered by the Government in the Economic and Social Stabilization Program “, whose objective is” to ensure the maintenance of employment and the progressive resumption of economic activity. “
