Sony decided to disassemble a Playstation 5 and show all its components, with special emphasis on the advanced cooling system present in the new console.
The Vice President of the SIE, Masayasu Ito, explained the objectives they sought.
“We started defining the concept of the PlayStation®5 in 2015 and spent the last 5 years designing and developing the console. Our team values architecture with an attractive design. Inside the console we find a clean and organized structure, which means that there are no unnecessary components and the design is efficient. Consequently, we have achieved our goal of creating a product with a high level of perfection and quality. ‘
On the subject of console noise.
“We had to find, more than ever, a balance between all aspects of the system, reducing noise levels and improving cooling capacity.”
PS5 hits Portuguese stores on November 19 and will feature two models. One digital edition and one with blu-ray discs.
