This week, six Santa Casa employees tested positive for COVID-19.

The first case will have been found this Monday, October 5, in the Santa Maria de Avioso nursery, in Castêlo da Maia, which works in the Civic Center building. The Day Center and the Parish Council also operate in the same place. The result of the test was known during the afternoon and, the next day, the team no longer opened doors.

… we have a little message to share with you. More and more people are reading NOTÍCIAS MAIA, a leading digital audience newspaper. Unlike other media, we choose not to make readers pay to read our news, keeping access to information as free as possible. So, as you can see, we need your support.

In order to present you with more and better information, including more reports and interviews and using an increasingly developed platform and other media, such as video, we need your help.

NOTÍCIAS MAIA is an independent media organization (and always will be). This is important so that we can freely confront any kind of power (political, economic or religious) when necessary.

We think that if each person who reads and likes to read the MAIA NEWS, supports the future of our project, it will be increasingly important for the development of the society we share, at the regional level. For dissemination, exchange and inspection.

So for as little as € 1, you can support NEWS MAIA, and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
