Microsoft mocks Sony for teaching how to place the PS5 horizontally

Sony recently released a video showing the inside of the PS5. The video is 7 minutes long and even gives the company time to demonstrate how users can place it horizontally. Microsoft wasted no time and “mocked” the Japanese company on Twitter.

Masayasu Ito, executive vice president of Sony, broke the new PS5.  In the video, the executive of the company shows the interfaces of the console and also various internal details.  At 1:10, Ito even taught how to position the console horizontally.  Recall that this console arrives in Portugal on November 19 and the base price will be 399 euros, reaching 499 euros depending on the configuration.

After the Sony video circulated on the Internet, Microsoft, more specifically Xbox UK, a competitor in this area, took the opportunity to provoke the Japanese company.  Through a tweet on Facebook, Xbox UK showed how to change the position of the Xbox Series X from vertical to horizontal.  The tweet has already been removed, but it basically just changed the console from portrait to landscape.
As we have mentioned, the new PS5 will be one of the most powerful consoles in the world.  Recall that the new Sony console will have a CPU with 8x Zen, 2 cores at 3.5GHz, a GPU capable of 10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz, custom RDNA 2 GPU architecture, 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM, 448 GB / s of memory bandwidth and a super fast 825GB SSD.
Regarding the SSD drive, it is expected to be the Samsung 980 Pro SSD.  Therefore, this unit offers read speeds of up to 6.5GB / s and 5GB / s over write.
In accordance with Recent data, although the SSD is 825GB, only 700GB will be free to install games.  To give you an idea, a game like Destiny 2, with all the extras, occupies about 100 GB.
