The justification for this letter left Leah Francis in shock. Leah Francis’ boss explained in a letter that she had received more than her salary over the past decade and owed the company more than 20,000 euros.
The company employee since 2004 was in shock. In the letter, Leah’s employer states that she has received another 274 euros a month for the last ten years and now wants everything back.
The woman says that in 2009 she went on maternity leave but, before that, she reformulated the contract and went from full-time to part-time work. However, when she returned, she began her new schedule, but she will have continued to receive the same as before taking maternity leave.
In 2019, Leah will have shown the payroll to a colleague and it would have been fatal to the worker. The colleague explained that she was earning more than she was supposed to. Now, a year later, Leah has received the letter where the employer alleges a debt of more than 20,000 euros with the company due to an error in the calculation of the salary of the last 10 years.
