The ex-Sporting will be accompanied by the Portuguese Hélder Costa
Hélder Costa’s Leeds United announced on Monday the signing of Raphinha, the Brazilian winger who represented Rennes last season, until 2024. The English club will pay a sum of around 18 million euros for the player’s pass.
In Portugal, Raphinha represented clubs such as Vitória de Guimarães and Sporting, before moving to the French from Rennes for a budget of around 21 million euros for the lion’s coffers. For Rennes, the 23-year-old Brazilian winger has played 36 games and scored a total of 8 goals. It should be remembered that the lions were entitled to an amount corresponding to a capital gain on a future sale, an amount that Sporting will not receive, since the value of the transfer from the Brazilian to Leeds United was less than the amount for lions sold to Rennes.
