João Almeida once again led Portugal to the top, after finishing the 150 kilometers of the third stage that traveled Etna in 11th position, and the world once again saw a Portuguese in the pink jersey. The last time was in 1989, with Acácio da Silva, after having won the second stage of the race precisely on Etna, then 28 years old. João is 22 years old.
