Portuguese midfielder Manuel Fernandes, who had no club, has signed a two-year contract with Kayserispor, the Turkish soccer league club announced on Monday.

Manuel Fernandes, 34, was left without a club after failing to renew his contract with the Russians in Krasnodar, where he was last season after five seasons at Lokomotiv Moscow.

At Kayserispor, the Portuguese international midfielder will meet his compatriot Miguel Lopes.

Trained at Benfica, Manuel Fernandes has passed through Portsmouth and Everton, in England, the Spaniards from Valencia and the Turks from Besiktas.
