This Saturday Marítimo beat FC Porto 3-2 in their visit to Estádio do Dragão. Rodrigo Pinho, with two goals, Nanu with another and Amir with a stopped penalty were the highlights of the Madeira team. FC Porto’s goals came from Pepe’s head and Otávio from foot.
The dragons entered the game better, who pressed Amir’s goal very early. Marega looked for space behind the three defending maritime centrals and, in the corridors, sent the blue and white sides: Telles and Manafá.
The first great came in the nine minutes when Luis Díaz received the pass inside the penalty area and chose to simulate the shot, ending up surrounded by opponents and wasting the opportunity to create danger.

Marítimo created greater danger when, at 11 ‘, he even put the ball into the goal. Hermes appears on the left after a confusion in the opposite corridor and crosses early to the penalty area, where the Argentine Correa seems to deviate towards the back of the goal.
The Argentine was caught offside and the play was canceled: Correa went nine centimeters ahead. Once the threat was abandoned, the Maritime carried it out.
Winck finds Rodrigo Pinho breaking into the central hall. The Brazilian receives, takes Mbemba from the lead and, with his left foot, shoots to count the first of the match.
FC Porto managed to draw before the break. After a corner kick, Pepe headed towards the back of the net.
At the return of the game it was Marítimo who got the best. Getterson hits the post after a direct free kick and Pinho, alone and with his head, passes the Madeira.
At 70 ‘there were doubts in the Dragon. Corona makes a ball that hits the crossbar and the ball goes to Sérgio Oliveira. The ball ends up going towards the goal and René shoots it. From Cidade do Futebol came the indication that the ball would not have crossed the goal line.
And if it wasn’t the crossbar or the goal line, it was Amir. At 85 ‘, Otávio found space to shoot at the bottom corner of the goal and Amir, in flight, avoided the goal that would be the tie. In the next minute, Amir again.
Alex Telles takes the penalty and shoots hard to the left side of the goal. Amir jumped up and faced the shot, again preventing the goal.
With ten minutes of compensation given by Rui Costa, Marítimo did not want to risk it. In a counterattack Nanu lunges from the right and, despite his above-average speed, opted to shoot hard for 3-1.
However, there was a shot that Amir could not defend. At 90 + 9 ‘, Otávio again found space to shoot and the ball, after deflecting into a maritimist defense, went up to enter the Iranian goal.
