The first ICS / ISCTE poll for SIC and Expresso for the presidential elections points to a victory for the incumbent President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, with 65% of voting intentions. Secondly, the survey predicts that Ana Gomes, the former Socialist MEP who received the support of the PAN this week, will remain, with 12% of the voting intentions.

Marcelo thus fails the objective of achieving the most expressive result in a presidential election, which belongs to Mário Soares with 70.3% in 1991, but, in the scenario known this Friday, he gets reelection with a percentage of votes higher than that of 2016, when it reached 52%.

Who also fails in his objective, according to the survey, is André Ventura. With 8% of the voting intentions, the leader of Chega would be in third place, with just over the fourth most voted candidate, Marisa Matias, who is estimated to have 7% of the votes. The last one in the ICS / ISCTE study is João Ferreira, the communist candidate who collects 6% of the voting intentions.
