Entrepreneur and television host Zef Eisenberg died Thursday while trying to break the British land speed record at Elvington Airfield in Yorkshire, UK.
Zef Eisenberg was driving a Porsche 911 Turbo S when he lost control of the car. The 47-year-old businessman had already participated in several “high-speed trips” and even broke dozens of records, both with motorcycles and cars, they explained. CNN.

News of the death was confirmed by North Yorkshire Police, who were called to the scene around 4:30 pm Thursday.
“The incident occurred during a record attempt at British Land Speed and the driver, Zef Eisenberg, 47, tragically died at the scene,” police said.
Ten years ago, former Top Gear host Richard Hammond was also in a near-fatal accident in Elvington, traveling at more than 300 miles per hour.
This airfield is a very popular place for those who want to drive at high speed, but it is also known for tragic accidents.
Motorsport UK, in a statement, already mourned Eisenberg’s death and said it would investigate the causes of the accident.
Zef Eisenberg was known to be trying to beat the “British Land Speed”, achieved by pilot Tony Densham, in 1970.
