In a note published today on his page, the Porto District Attorney General says that the defendants are accused of two crimes of falsification of a document and one crime of using another person’s identity document.

According to the prosecution, one of the defendants was a candidate for a driving license that would allow him to drive heavy vehicles and, wanting to guarantee his approval of the theoretical exam, asked for help from another of the defendants, the director of a driving school based en en Fafe, in exchange for compensation.

Also according to the prosecution, the defendants “devised a plan” that involved the accused director of the driving school to find a third person to do the theoretical examination instead of the accused candidate.

The elect, the third defendant, was the administrative official of a driving school based in Vila do Conde, Porto district, who offered to take the theoretical driving test as if he were the candidate, assuming his identity, and to take the test in his place.

The administrative defendant appeared for questioning on August 7, 2018 at the Examination Center of Braga da Anieca, “as if he were the accused candidate, carrying, to demonstrate, his citizenship card and a replacement guide for the driver’s license of the accused with his photograph, thus obtained from the IMT, in the computer system, by the accused person “.

He even started the exam, which he signed as if he were the accused candidate, ending, but the officials noticed the identity theft and called the police.
