Benfica and Braga in pot 1: know which rivals they avoid and who they can face

[ad_1]

Águilas and Arsenalistas are the only Portuguese representatives in the competition. The draw takes place at 12:00 noon on Friday.

The eliminations of Sporting and Rio Ave left Benfica and Braga as the sole representatives of Portugal in the group stage of the Europa League.

The two teams will join pot 1 of Friday’s drawing and avoid teams placed in the same pot. Some strong names like Arsenal, Tottenham or Roma are left out of Portuguese thought in the next phase.

In pots 2, 3 and 4 there are no exceptions and any team can face Benfica or Braga.
