These measures, however, did not improve Johnson’s poll results, as they did in March when the lockdown was ordered.
“While public support for the new covid-19 restrictions is strong, this has not resulted in an increase in the level of government approval,” Opinium associate director Adam Drummond told The Observer.
The poll also noted that the Labor leader has long had a better image than the prime minister, although this is the first time since Boris Johnson took control of the Conservative Party in July 2019 that the opposition party has also been around. ahead in voting intentions.
