Madeira is in a situation of calamity, decreed by the Regional Government, until the end of September, the same level maintained by the Government of the Azores until October 1 in the five islands with air connection outside the archipelago (Santa Maria, São Miguel, Terceira, Pico and Faial).

The four remaining islands of the Azores (Graciosa, São Jorge, Flores and Corvo) remain on alert until the same date.
