You can play with a woman.

Ubisoft has finally revealed Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and we already have the first information.

In addition to revealing the trailer for the Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla movie, the new Assassin’s Creed featuring Vikings, Ubisoft has confirmed a season pass, platform info, and release forecast.

In this expansive open-world action RPG, which will allow you to leave the seas from Norway to England to explore new places and conquer them through increased warfare and political power, you will be Eivor.

You can choose whether Eivor is a man or a woman, customized to your liking, capable of using two weapons at the same time, in a combat system described as brutal and that meets what you expect from a Viking soldier.

Ubisoft confirmed three main cities at the Valhalla launch and says it will have larger ships under its control, especially useful for attacks on cities.

One of the most important news in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will be your camp or base, if you prefer.

This will be a place that you control and that expands based on the decisions you make throughout the game. Your soldiers stay at the base, and you can return there to rest or make strategic decisions.

From this base, you will begin to gain control and, through political play, you will expand your reach over the regions you control. This seems to expand the concept of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla beyond the simple RPG action and insert the management mechanics.

Different editions and collectors

Ubisoft has announced several editions of this Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.

As usual in Ubisoft games, you will have 4 different editions and the more you are willing to pay, the more content you will get and, as expected, there is a collector with a figure.

Standard (€ 59.99), Gold (€ 99.99) and Ultimate (€ 119.99) are editions that you can get in both physical and digital formats, but only two of them include extras.

The standard version includes the game, while the other two versions include the Season Pass and the Ultimate also includes the Ultimate Pack, a package packed with digital extras, such as gear for Eivor and his ship.

Also, depending on your bag, you can choose the Collector’s Edition, which includes even more physical and digital content.

In addition to all the contents of the Ultimate edition, Collectors includes a 30 cm Eivor figure in a female version, the soundtrack and an art set, in special packaging.

This is an edition for the biggest fans and within the reach of a few.

Season Pass

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla has been announced and the regular Season Pass has been revealed.

Ubisoft hasn’t shared much about the extras it will have in this virtual Norway and England, but it promises that you will be able to access new locations, missions and Gear with the Season Pass.

According to him, the Season Pass allows access to “new epic content” and “explore new locations and discover new equipment.”

If you purchase one of the editions with the Season Pass, you’ll have access to an additional Story Quest, right at launch.

Release date and platforms

Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is a multi-generation game that will arrive in late 2020.

This means that, following tradition, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will hit stores in late October, perhaps November to accompany the launch of the new consoles.

As an intergenerational release, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is coming to PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X. On Xbox consoles, the game will support Smart Delivery functionality. This way, you buy the game once and can play it on Xbox One or Xbox Series X.

In addition, it will have a PC version available through the Epic Games Store and UPlay. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will also have the Stadia version.
