The President of the Republic was concerned this Sunday about the latest Covid-19 figures in Portugal.

Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa asks the Portuguese to take responsibility for ensuring that the National Health Service does not lose its ability to respond.

In one day, the head of state visited three houses in Alcoutim. He always kept safe distances and recalled that this has to be the case so that the numbers do not skyrocket, as happened this weekend.

Next Tuesday, the country enters a contingency situation, but for the President of the Republic, sanctions cannot nullify the responsibilities of the Portuguese.

Regarding the school year, Marcelo says that he did his best, but he remembers that there cannot be a perfect job, taking into account the preparation time.
