This decision was made after a determination given by the doctor José Mota Faria, head of the local Health Authority, taking into account the three positive cases of COVID-19 that exist in Ac. Viseu. This fact, combined with the epidemiological situation in the municipality of Viseu, where there is active community transmission, led to the suspension of gambling.

Given the urgency of the situation, the Portugal League summoned the medical officers of all the Professional Soccer Sports Societies to an extraordinary meeting, to be held this Saturday at 10 am.
