ORAn 80-year-old man who had been missing for three days, and who authorities feared might be dead, appeared at a press conference about his disappearance.

Harry Harvey, who is described as “a competent hiker,” was reported missing in the Richmondshire area of ​​North Yorkshire on Sunday afternoon after being separated from the group he was walking with on Saturday.

The family and the authorities called on the public to help in the search, at a press conference this Tuesday, when Harvey appeared at the site, brought by elements of the rangers, who located him, after three nights alone, in middle of a storm, surviving on canned beans.

When he arrived at the scene, the family ran to hug him, as you can see in the video above.

Speaking to the press, Harvey, who had bruises on his forehead, said he lost sight of the group during a period of heavier rain and spent “three good nights in nature.” He said he was never in real danger, even though he fell once.

“As soon as they found me, I called my wife, I didn’t even have time to be mad at me, I hung up the phone before that,” he joked.
